I LOVE my Ergo, it is the the best and most comfortable. I found it did get hot in OKinawa and southwestern Arizona, but what doesn't? I hadn't heard about the Wrapsody company before, they look interesting.

I scored an Arm's Reach co-sleeper on Craigslist for less than half the cost of a new one, so be sure to shop around! I've loved it for both my babies; with the second one I invested in a really nice wool and natural latex mattress to replace the cheap foam and particle board one it comes with, and baby seems a lot more comfortable. Just to clarify, you don't actually raise and lower the side on a regular basis like you would a drop-side crib. You can have the side up when you want to use it as a freestanding bassinet, and when you want to use it as a co-sleeper you lower the side and actually strap it to your bed so it can't slide away. I definitely recommend it. Night nursing is a million times easier when you don't have to get out of bed!
