Last Minute Father’s Day Gift

June 7, 2014 By Julie Leave a Comment

My oldest is finally at the stage where he can begin to expression his love for us with words.
No longer does he only repeat “I love you” after we say it to him. His spontaneous words of love make the bad days worth it.
For this Father’s Day, I wanted Loopy to give a gift that will help him show his daddy love throughout the year.
I decided to make a craft extremely similar to one I had made years earlier, for my husband. You can see that romantic gift here.
All you need to do is find a photo of your kiddos.
Then add some text that says “You’re a Great Daddy Because” (I used Picmonkey for free online).
Print it out and put it in a glass frame.
Your child will be able to write and rewrite whatever they want with a dry erase marker.
(Of course if your child is three, you’ll have to help them. 😉 )

Julie is a frazzled mom of three tornadoes. As a dorky second-generation homeschooler, she writes about learning and play, natural living, special needs parenting and matters of the heart. She serves an astounding God that radically saved her.
