The weather is finally warming up around here. Spring seems to bring with it better moods and better greenery.
We couldn’t resist doing a quick little spring craft this week… bottle cap flowers. This post contains affiliate links for your convenience. Please read my full disclosure policy here.
First, let me confess to you that I have a slight addiction to Kombucha, or as some may know it, “hippy juice”. It’s a fermented tea with a live culture growing in it so there’s a crazy ton of probiotics. It sounds gross, it’s delicious.
Why am I telling you this, in a post about flower crafts?
Because, like any good blogger, I’ve been saving the bottle caps off these bad boys, knowing that someday, I’d come up with an amazing craft that needs bottle caps.
Well, today is the day.
(So glad I saved up a grand total of 300 bottle caps.)
Supplies:
Bottle Caps!
White Paper
Glue
Cotton Swabs
Scissors
Instructions:
Cut out various colored petals from the construction paper. If your child is old enough, they can do this step.
Use a cotton swab to paint the bottle cap. Then paint the flower’s stem. Glue the petals and the bottle cap in place.
(Pardon the grubby fingers. I love those little hands!)
Now what to do with the 298 other bottle caps sitting in the craft room.
