This little turkey craft project was just perfect for Loopy’s age (2). I don’t think he was getting the concept of shapes before this. I got the idea from Housing A Forest. Theirs look a little more polished than ours, but I try and let Loopy do his own thing.
So the idea is simple. make turkeys out of basic shape. One turkey is almost all circles, another is mostly triangles, while another has oodles of rectangles. Check it out:

Loopy loved making this turkey craft and came away as a “shape master”!
