No Cook Kool Aid Play Dough

June 3, 2015 By Julie 2 Comments

It’s summertime and that means extra time for fun! (At least that’s the rumor.)

I put together a summer bucket list of all the simple classic activities we want to do during the coming months.

At the top of this list was this no cook kool aid play dough. Despite forgetting a key ingredient, it turned out to be a pleasure for the senses!

Ingredients

1 Cup of Flour

3/4 Cup of Water

2 Packets of Kool Aid

1 Teaspoon of Cream of Tarter

1 Tablespoon of Oil (We used olive)

Directions

Mix it all together and microwave. I had run out of salt, so it’s not in this recipe. I’m not sure how that effected the microwave time.  I did it for a minute, stirred, and did it for another 45 seconds. (I also have bowls that seem to really absorb heat in the microwave, so be ready to experiment with cook times.)

Knead it together and let it cool. It smelled heavenly and was super vivid! The boys loved it!
