Running Errands with Little Kids will Never be the Same

September 15, 2016 By Julie Leave a Comment

This post is sponsored by Walmart via Mitchell Communications. I’m thrilled to share my honest opinion of a much needed service.

Every time I run errands with the kids, it feels like we’re preparing for a moon launch.

You know the drill. Matching shoes for all the munchkins, emptying of the bladders and soggy diapers, timing the naps just right, etc. etc. etc.

It can literally take more than 90 minutes to get out the door and strapped in to our three car seats. All to drive five minutes and unstrap those darn car seats and wake up the sleeping children. (So much for all my nap planning!)

It all used to be so simple. But with little kids, errand running is a test of stamina, ingenuity and sheer willpower.

Now that’s all changing.

Now you can pick up a gallon of milk without losing your mind.

Here’s how…

Walmart is going to turn you into your family’s #groceryhero!

It’s simple, convenient, and totally FREE! (No mark-ups, no gratuity, ever.)

Go to Walmart.com/grocery online. You’ll be able to quickly create an account and pick a store near you.

After that, use the search bar to find all the things on your list, and more! Need some shin guards before soccer practice? Forgot the organic broccoli for that side dish? They’ve got you covered!

I really loved how you can add items to your “favorites list” so that the next time you shop, those items will be saved and easy to select from.

Once you’ve filled your “cart”, select from a list when you’d like to pickup your groceries. Note: sometimes you have to wait till the next day because of demand.

Each selected item also gives you the option to check “substitute” or not. It all depends on if you want them to find another brand if the store runs out of something, or if you only want that one very specific brand.

Now when you drive to the store, you get to stay with your buckled, sleeping children in the lovely A/C (or heat) and wait for a cheerful Walmart employee to bring you all your groceries. You just give them a call and tell them what spot you’re in.

The workers were incredibly sweet and helpful, loading everything into my trunk and letting me know how the whole system works. I was worried that it might be complicated or I’d forget a step, but the system was easy to navigate and REAL helpful people were there to guide me.

I even received this welcome bag full of goodies as a new customer. I had SUCH a positive experience and saw tons of other moms using it with their little ones in the back seat!
