Super Simple Heart Art for Toddlers

January 26, 2015 By Julie 6 Comments

Inside you’ll find: The world’s easiest heart craft for toddlers.

We like to keep things simple around here. This toddler craft is no exception. AND it’s perfect for Valentine’s day!

It takes only a minute or two to set up, and even your youngest artists can participate.

Materials:

Paper

Markers or Crayons

Painter’s Tape

Instructions:

Form a solid heart (or any shape really) on the paper with the painter’s tape.

Let your child go. to. town. with the scribbling! The more the better. The goal is to have some pretty concentrated scribbles so that the background is nearly solid.

This heart was the product of both of my boys, because when one would run out of steam, the other would take over. Too cute!

Peel back the tape to reveal the crisp white heart.

I let my oldest do the peeling so he could practice his fine motor skills.

That’s all you need to make this fun heart art!
