Want to Help the Nepali Earthquake Victims???

April 29, 2015 By Julie 4 Comments

Another devastating natural disaster.

The mountainous country of Nepal was hit with a magnitude 7.8 earthquake.

5,238 confirmed dead, 10,348 injured. And the numbers keep rising.

How to help, who to donate to for Nepal Earthquake Victims

Numbers like that tend to overwhelm.

But you’re just one person.

What can you do as your browse your smart phone or sit at your desk?

You can meet these victims most urgent physical need.

Clean drinking water.

Check out these numbers.

Over 1.4 million people in Nepal do not have adequate drinking water.

Water Missions International has 30 water purification systems and three staff members in route to Nepal today (4/29). These 30 systems can provide enough safe drinking water for 250,000 people! Nasty contaminated water can become safe again. This greatly reduces the spread of disease and the ill effects of dehydration.

Here’s another number that should excite you. 100% of the donations made to Nepali earthquake victims via Water Missions International will be going DIRECTLY to their aid. (Donate NOW!)

I can personally vouch for the integrity of this organization.

You see, one of those three staff members traveling to Nepal, is my little brother, Tim. I grew up watching him overcome every learning difficulty in his path (including severe dyslexia), all because he had one burning passion…

Tim wants to use his gifts to spread the good news of the Savior in places that are closed or hostile to missionaries. He wants to meet physical and spiritual needs and spend his life doing it. He thrives on serving and doesn’t balk at the risks.

Working with Water Missions International is his dream. He’s already spent 4 months in Nepal and loves the people dearly.

Will you join with me in lifting him and the people of Nepal up in prayer?

And please consider donating to meet the needs of those who are still reeling from this tragedy.

Spread the word!

Great post! I am always in awe of people who have such a heart to serve and aren’t fearful of any of the risks. I am sure God is going to do awesome things through them!

Thanks for writing! I know him well enough to know he does have some fear, but not enough to keep him from obedience! Nothing compares to knowing God!

This is so amazing, Julie! Will be praying for Tim and his team. I will also be sharing this with my man-child. He is brilliant, but bored, and constantly searching for inspiration. Thank you, friend!
