Yoga for Kids: A Sensory Input Goldmine!

July 27, 2015 By Julie 8 Comments

For a lot of people, the first thing that comes to mind when they hear the term yoga is... hippies stretching in tight pants.

While that's certainly true, the benefits of yoga cross social and generational lines.

As a sensory parent, I'm always looking for FUN ways to give my son sensory input.

Yoga is one of our favorites!

What yoga is good for our little guy who is very sensitive and there are some boys at school who are bothering him to the point he had a terrible melt down tonight and he doesn’t know how to ignore these boys when they are being mean to him at school

Any of the ones in this article would be great. Also maybe some animal breath activities can help him control emotions. Sorry he’s going through that!
